Sr Georgina has been a Sister Hospitaller since 1988. She graduated in nursing from Ghana University of Nurses, and she also studied religious sciences in Rome. She is in charge of St Francis Xavier Hospital in Ghana, and she worried about the well-being of the staff under her leadership; hoping, praying and putting in measures to avoid any them contracting this disease.

Médecins Sans Frontières and Sisters Hospitallers new collaboration

A Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) delegation visited Sisters Hospitallers Benedict Menni Health Center in Monrovia. They knew firsthand the activities we do and the approach that is carried out of mental illness based on psycho-therapies, drug-therapy and rehabilitation activities. MSF will refer patients from its outpatient's facilities to ours.

Twinning Agreement between two centres in Liberia and Spain

The Aita Menni Hospital from Spain and the Saint Benedict Menni Health Center of Monrovia signed a twinning agreement which sets formal bonds between both centres and will be the cornerstone for the launching of the new mental health unit and the improving of services at the current Saint Benedict Menni Health Center.

St Benedict Menni Health Center Will Have New Solar Panels

The Saint Benedict Menni Health Center in Monrovia, Liberia, has started procedures to set up a system for solar power production and accumulation, which will allow for covering most of the energy needs in the compound along with the current diesel generator.
