We’ve had several activities at St Teresa’s Home before, during and after Christmas. We love keeping our residents busy and seeing their happy faces!
We lost count of how many times we sang Christmas Carols over the month… We were pleased to welcome a group of pupils from the French School and from St James School who delighted us with carols singing, a flute performance and a lovely chat.
We attended a joyful Christmas Carols concert at St Paul’s Church and Carols by Candlelight at the Royal Albert Hall, which was absolutely incredible. It was a lovely evening with a truly great orchestra and conductor who got us all on our feet and singing our hearts out!
We visited Peter Jones store at Sloane Square. As some residents had previously said that it was their favourite shop, we decided to organize a trip there to see the Christmas Decoration. We raised 256 pounds with the tickets sale of our raffle and the money will help a homeless family in Liberia.
And we celebrated our Christmas Party that residents really enjoyed, with the visit of Father Christmas and the elf, who brought presents for everyone. Thank you very much to the sisters and staff for organizing the event.
