It’s been a busy month at St Augustine’s Home with plenty of activities and visits. Our residents, staff and sisters put themselves on Christmas mode and had a wonderful time.
Margaret Watson, a harpist from Sussex, came to play a range of Christmas songs and classical pieces. There was also an impressive performance of Carols singing by The Twiggs Singers and even had a group of children from St George’s College on the 24th who came to sing along.
At the beginning of the month, our annual Christmas Fayre took place and we raised over £1100 that will help with the replacement of the residents’ sitting room floor.
And of course, we had two Christmas Parties, one for the staff and another one with the residents that were simply amazing! Thank you to Friends of St Augustine’s for the Christmas gifts and to everyone for putting so much effort!
