Today, June 21, Sisters Hospitallers promote a day of prayer for vocations under the motto “Practice Hospitality and you will discover what it is to evangelize”. We would love to invite you to join us and to take part in the prayers organized in all the centres of Sisters Hospitallers English Province.
The 21st of June it is a special day for us, it was the day when our foundresses María Josefa Recio and María Angustias Giménez left their home in Granada to follow Jesus. For this reason, it is an outstanding date for the entire Hospitaller Community.
Today we start a cycle of prayer that will be organized every 21st of each month with one aim: to pray for vocations, to pray for young people and with young people, in each Community, because they are the future. Everybody is welcome to “come and see”, to join us on this day to remember the importance of praying to the Lord of the Harvest to send labourers to His Harvest.
Our chapels in all our homes, in the English Province, are opened all day for you to pop in. And from 4.30-5.30pm an hour of adoration with the Blessed Sacrament.
Then He said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out labourers into His harvest.” Matthew, 9:37-38
