We bet that most of the people who are reading this have included in their 2020 goals doing more exercise. At St Teresa’s is not only a goal, but it is also a reality. Sisters Hospitallers in London try hard to keep the residents fit as much as possible.
Our residents have started the year taking exercise very seriously. Lead by Sr Isabel, the residents gather every morning to stretch and keep their bodies fit.
It is not necessary to be great at sports, the only thing required is to commit and do your best. During the session, Sr Isabel practices specific physical programmes for our residents that include moving their arms and legs and also stretching.
Because health is not necessarily age-related, keeping fit shouldn’t be a goal but a reality for all of us.
