Footherley Hall celebrated Halloween with themed activities like decorating fairy cakes with marzipan ghosts. Joanne decorated satsumas which were perfect little creations of the traditional pumpkins and our residents thoroughly enjoyed eating them afterwards!
In preparation for Remembrance Sunday they made their own poppies out of crepe paper which really were super.
For Christmas they also made mincemeat. The residents really enjoyed this and it smelled delicious! The mince pies will be made on the run up to Christmas and hopefully they’ll all be having one or two!
Garden Centre Trip
A few of Christ the King’s residents enjoyed a trip to the local garden centre to see the early very pretty Christmas gifts and decorations and after a very much appreciated look around, coffee followed to complete.
