Prom at the Royal Albert Hall

On the 20th of July, five residents of St Teresa’s Home accompanied by four members of the staff: sister Cecilia, Anita (activity coordinator), Inma (care assistant) and Sam (volunteer from AGE UK) enjoyed a lovely evening visiting the Royal Albert Hall and attending the BBC Prom 7, part of the eight-week summer season of orchestral classical music concerts.

Before the concert, the group sat at the cafeteria at the Royal Albert Hall, had some drinks, chatted and had the opportunity to emerge in the colourful atmosphere of the historical building. The staff members of the venue were very kind and let them take some memorable pictures from the event.

It was a wonderful performance, and the programme included works by Stravinsky (Pulcinella Suite), Fauré (Shylock), and Poulenc (Stabat Mater).

Residents said they had great pleasure attending and expressed gratitude to the home for organizing the event.
