Remembrance and Armistice Day, both celebrated on 11 November, remember the members of the armed forces and commemorate the armistice signed between the Allies of World War I and Germany at Compiègne, France.
This year, Margaret talked about the World War II and showed residents, family and carers lots of pictures of the everyday life during that time, followed by two minutes of silence.
Some residents talked about how the war really affected their daily lives. Many of them had been soldiers and nurses.
It helped residents recall past times and experiences during the war. They consider it a very important day not just for others but also for themselves and for their well-being.
