Sunny June at our Care Homes!

In June, we were blessed with an amazing weather in England that made possible to have a lot of activities in our gardens. We also enjoyed outings to parks, visits and many arts and crafts – our residents are becoming experts!

St Teresa’s Home

Our residents enjoyed a great 50’s American Party and a Garden Party, and helped with all the decoration beforehand. They had outings to Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens and Palace and to the museum as well as many other indoor manual and physical activities and brain teasers.

Christ the King Care Home

Residents in Shenstone celebrated their Annual Summer Fete, the manager’s birthday, Father’s Day… And there was a lot of music and movement throughout the month as well as bingo and poetry sessions! To celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, our sisters attended an Afternoon Pilgrimage at Maryvale, New Oscott which has the oldest Chapel in England.

St Augustine’s Home

We had a great time in Addlestone, with plenty of visits from students from different schools who helped us with arts & crafts activities. We also welcomed the Weybridge Deanery Care Group and shared a lovely evening with them. Residents had some relaxing time during a pampering day and did lots of activities!
