The COVID-19 Pandemic has awoken the spirit of giving amongst individuals, NGOs and companies across the world. People have come to understand that to defeat this deadly disease, we all need to work together and be concerned about the health of others.
On 8th July Mr Mitsuo Ishimoto, Country Manager of Tachibana International Gh Ltd, and Mr Bright Baffoe, Fosu District Manager of Trans Royal GH LTD- a cocoa buying company, made a presentation on behalf of the GLICO Cocoa Processing company located in China. The donations were made to health facilities, CHPS Compound and some cocoa farmers in the Assin North and South districts.
The much-needed items were surgical face masks, reusable African print face masks and hand sanitizers. St Francis Xavier Hospital received 200 surgical face masks and 48 hand sanitizers. Also at the presentation were Mr Benjamin Amoako, Assin Foso Municipal Director of Health (Ag.) and Mr George Opoku Asumadu, Assin North Director of Health

On 7th July, the hospital also took delivery of two air conditioners donated by Chances & Opportunities Ventures of Accra which supplies medical consumables to the hospital.
