Sisters Hospitallers are committed to a healthy life. Proof of this is our children from Dompoase, Ghana.
One of our morning routines is exercise. Our children love it, and so do our co-workers and Sister, who join in and demonstrate they are as fit as the kids. Well, at least they try to!
Arms up and down, legs up and down, time to stretch and time for some to stop halfway because they still need to work on their body flexibility!
We all know how good exercise is for our body and mind, but for all of us, the best thing is spending time together and laughing while we shake our bodies and keep our muscles fit.
As the Romans said Mens sana in corpore sano (a healthy mind in a healthy body) because physical exercise is an essential part of mental and psychological well-being.
