On 4th November St. Teresa’s Home has organised their first visit to Victoria and Albert Museum which is within walking distance from the house.
Priscilla, Mrs. Brooke, Barbara, and Anita (AC), properly packed with umbrellas for the rainy weather, took one of the popular London’s black taxis and made their way to the museum. They had a lovely two hours walk through the spacious halls looking at beautiful statues, religious icons and altarpieces, embroideries and porcelain from Europe through the medieval period. There were some lovely members of staff who walked with them through each hall telling them about the exhibitions.
The visit was very stimulating and entertaining and will be organized every month to give chance to explore other exhibition halls and more residents to join in
