Footherley Hall Home provides residential care for 50 elderly people, including those living with dementia or limited mobility.
Our professional and dedicated staff at Footherley Hall care home delivers a superb level of individual attention to our residents. Above all, their priority is to make their stay with us as easy and enjoyable as possible.
Similarly, we strive to create a friendly, comfortable atmosphere for all our residents. Therefore, they are always able to enjoy a range of activities while maintaining an independent lifestyle for as long as possible. Moreover, Footherley Hall has an in-house Activities team, so our residents enjoy a varied program of social activities weekly. This includes activities like bingo, craft workshops and theme parties.
Footherley Hall was extensively refurbished in 2007/8 and has now 46 rooms divided into:
We encourage our residents to bring personal belongings with them to create a familiar atmosphere at their new room. In addition, Footherley Hall includes communal spaces such as the beautiful conservatory, two smaller lounges and a large dining room.
Most importantly, thanks to our location surrounded by nature, we have extensive gardens for our residents to enjoy at their leisure. In the same vein, we promote outdoors activities whenever the weather is favourable. This includes relaxing walks around nature, taking in the tranquility of the ground by planting in the raised beds and potting in the greenhouse. Observing wildlife is also a favourite activity by some of our residents, including birds of prey, owls and even pheasants strolling around.
Lastly, in line with the home’s religious history, we also have our own Chapel.
Visits are always welcome into our care homes, so family and friends can join us at any time!
