This month has seen an improvement in our struggle to help fight COVID-19 in our centre; we have still maintained the objective of not getting anyone infected in our community, be it patients, sisters, staff and relatives who troop in and out of the centre on daily basis. This has been a collective task for all in our quest for supremacy in fighting this pandemic. Our doors have been reopened for admissions, home visits, family meetings, follow-up and trial parole.
Patient admission has been reintroduced since the beginning of September. Our collaboration with E.S. Grant Mental Home has been reinforced and since we started there has been no referral from their facility as they scan their patients to see which ones best fit our program. However, we have added a new patient through the Out-patients department.
